St. Andrew's Society
The Saint Andrew's society of Athens represents the Greek community of Scots in
Athens and promotes Scottish culture and traditions. There is a large community of
Scottish people in Greece and our society organizes regular social events with food
and drink of a distinctive Scottish flavour and plenty of cheerful Scottish country
dancing. All nationalities welcome! Profits from our events are donated to Greek
charities.

Meet in Athens
Meet in Athens is a social group for expat foreigners in Athens. Sometimes it is great to
be able to get together and share a foreign perspective on all things Greek. The group
started life in September 2005 and has been growing ever since, with 350 people
currently on the mailing list. The countries represented include: UK, Spain, India, USA,
France, Italy, Argentina, Romania, Belgium, Netherlands, Russia, Germany, Lebanon,
Sweden, Turkey... Since the group started, our members have met for a range of
activities including for coffee, drinks, dinners, clubbing, book clubs, days at the beach,
and trips out of the city. The group now has a new web site at www.meet-in-athens.com
