Athens Greece Freecycle(tm) Group
The Freecycle group is open to all who want to "recycle" (give away) something rather
than throw it away. Everybody has something in their house that is a shame to throw
away, but is not needed. Whether it's a chair, a sofa, a blender or an old but working
computer and/or parts. Maybe you are even looking for something! One main rule:
everything posted must be free. This group is part of The Freecycle Network, a
nonprofit organization and a movement of volunteers interested in keeping good stuff
(not garbage) out of landfills. Already in Thessaloniki and Patras, the idea is spreading
through Greece to cover the first 2 mottos of Ecology: Reduce, Reuse.
